Lunch with Ellie

I am getting really behind in my blogging but I have been rather busy.  I have been a single mom all week while Marty has been out playing ‘Army Men’ in the field.  I am taking a Spanish class.  I am remodeling the bathroom.  Then there is life.  So maybe I should cut myself a little slack huh.

Back on Monday the kids and I made a trip to Austin to meet Anna and my sweet baby niece Ellie for lunch at the ever so yummy Kirby Lane.  We had a great visit.  Ellie slept most of the time, Gavin ate most of the time and Riley played and got into stuff all of the time.   Gavin had pancakes, for the first time, ever and I had the best turkey and avocado sandwich.  Thanks Anna for putting up with my ever so crazy clan.  We had fun and can’t wait to do it again.

I just realized how bad Riley really needs to get her hair cut.  This weekend it will happen!  And you know that I just had to make a trip to The Container Store since we were so close.  I grabbed this awesome new expandable silverware organizer.  I love it!
