Since we were out and about this morning running errands I decided to just run through Sonic and grab lunch for me and Riley. Besides it’s been like 3 days since I have had a Cherry Dr. Pepper and a girl can only go so long. I have never ordered Riley a cheeseburger before and she insisted that she wanted one. Actually she has been asking for Whataburger for the last 3 days. I wonder, how many 2 year olds ask for Whataburger by name? Does this mean we eat out too much? Anyway. So we get home and we sit down at the table to eat our cheeseburgers and tator tots and I was just amazed and profoundly humored at how Riley eats a cheeseburger.
- Pick up cheeseburger, whole and intact. Take a bite.
- Realize that there is cheese on the cheeseburger.
- Take bread off, peel and eat cheese off bread.
- Examine tator tots.
- Take a bite. Really, cheese on these too.
- Pick cheese off one little tiny piece at a time.
- Eat cheese. Be careful not to eat any of the tator tots. This takes away from the cheese flavor.
- Look at cheeseburger. There is cheese on the meat too.
- Pick cheese off and eat.
- Eat hamburger.
- Lick mayo off the bread.
- Ask mommy for her tator tots.
- Mommy says no, finish what is on your plate.
- Ask for cookies.

What is it about the cheese? Harper and Kaylee both eat the cheese off of their burgers first before anything else gets touched. Harper also likes to ask for Burger King from time to time and Kaylee always wants to order Chinese, lol.

That is hilarious! It makes me want to run to Whataburger. Yum! Riley’s method of eating reminds me of how Haleigh eats a bagel and cream cheese–licks the cream cheese off the bagel and then holds bagel out for more cream cheese.
